    Friday July 18th minor league updates

    Ramon Ramirez starts for Louisville at 7:05 ET

    Chattanooga is scheduled at 8:05 ET

    Misael Dejesus starts for Sarasota at 7:00 ET

    Dayton is scheduled a doubleheader because of yesterday's postponement;
    The first game is scheduled for 6:00 ET, the second for 8:00 ET.

    Jamie Arneson is scheduled for Billings at 7:05 MT

    The GCL Reds play a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 and the DSL Reds played at 10:30.

    Neftali Soto scheduled to play first base in game two tonight for Dayton. That will be his first career appearance there.

    Curious as to why they are playing him there insted of Waring...I am assuming that Waring is in the lineup and that is the reason for him playing first...

    Waring is in the lineup as the DH for both games. They probably just want to start getting Soto some experience at first.

    I'l be leaving for Myrtle Beach sometime tomorrow afternoon and will be gone for eight days so I expect you guys to have great minor league game updates each night so that I can read up on all of them when I return next Sunday. ...though I may have a little computer access at times.

    Soto doubles in his next atbat. That's his 14th double and 21st extra-base hit in 102 atbats.

    Shaun Cumberland has been moved up to the #2 spot in the Louisville lineup for tonight...since the promotion he's hitting .333/.364/.524 in 21 atbats.

    Soto drilled one into a double play in the 5th, but a run scored on it. Announcer said if it wasn't right at him its a hit every time. 4-2 Dragons.
