    Volquez and a runner on 2nd

    From the centerfield camera view on FSN, you can clearly see what pitch Volquez is throwing from the stretch. I am wondering if it is simply due to the camera and angle, or if he exposes that to the runner on 2nd base. That would explain Reyes easily being able to take third on a changeup. And also, if you see him gripping the change he isn't going to turn around and throw to 2nd.

    Not sure what it is, but Volquez isn't the same as he was earlier in the season.

    An ERA under 1.50 is pretty much unsustainable. His June and July numbers up to today were very good. And, remember that his last start was 7 IP, 1 ER, 2 BB, 10K
