    Who will pitch friday?

They said during the game that Fogg was hit in the mouth by a joey votto line drive, and had to have 32 stitches, if he can't pitch friday do you think they'll just bump volquez up since they have thursday off?

Volquez will pitch Friday unless Fogg can go. Volquez will be on regular rest because of the off day. It's a little disappointing because with three young guys in the rotation this would seem like a great chance to get an extra days rest in the middle of the season but it doesn't seem like it will work out that way. Hopefully if he can't go Friday Fogg can still go ahead of Cueto so he gets an extra day after throwing 120 pitches.

    Re: Who will pitch friday?

The last thing I read said that it would be Edinson on Friday, Homer on Saturday, and Fogg would pitch on Sunday. That should give Johnny an extra day off if I counted my days correctly.

I'm thinking about heading to the game Friday night. It's up in the air at this point but I really want to see Volquez pitch in person.

I have a feeling Fogg will go. He's a gamer. If not, as others have said, it should be Volquez.
