I've got Bruce on my fantasy team and read this update on him..
Jul 27 Bruce is getting a routine day off from the starting lineup on Sunday, with Corey Patterson starting in his place in center field, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Recommendation: It's an odd day to give Bruce a rest, with the Reds facing a right-handed starter. Patterson is also batting in Bruce's leadoff spot - insert our usual shot at manager Dusty Baker's decision-making here.

If it takes 3 brain cells to manage a Major League Baseball team, the Great Toothpicked One is at least two short. You would think there's *someone* in the organization who could teach him how to read the back of a baseball card.
