Brass tacks: What will it take to re-sign Dunn?

OK, let's say both sides want to get a deal done. What will it take? Would Dunn sign for 3-years/$48 million? Would the Reds offer it? That would be my over/under. Dunn probably wants more years than that; the Reds probably want less than $16 million a year. But that sounds like a good compromise.

    Thoughts?

I'd love Dunn to get re-signed.

I don't think it happens. I don't believe he is a Jocketty priority. Just my gut feeling. I expect the Reds to offer AD arbitration and if he accepts to willingly pay him a one year deal.

I agree with your offer 3/48 and I'd add an option year with a buyout of 4 million maybe, similar to Junior's.
