What time is it? It's stat-padding time!

I love it. Can't believe Soto got out that one time though. What a joke. This kid expects me to take him seriously when he goes 5-for-6? I need my prospects going 6-for-6 with at least 2 HRs. Let's not get complacent, gentlemen.

Welcome to being at least the Reds' backup catcher for the foreseeable future.

My personal guess is that Jocketty will sign/trade for a starting catcher this offseason. And then Hanigan will be the backup.

Saw Sotto in person tonight, and WOW. Looks a little awkward running and could still add to his frame but the kid can FLAT OUT HIT. Every ball he hit, was hit very hard.

Whole team came out swinging today and hammered Burlington.

Didn't get around to commenting on yesterday, but both teams were very sluggish after the weather delay. Kyle L. looked good, seemed like he had somebody on base almost every inning but pitched better with runners on.

First time seeing Mesoraco in person, didn't realize how short he is. Seems like an athlete and is swinging a nice bat.

Hanigan can at least be the backup catcher on the Reds. He will never be a slugger, but I will take a .300 hitting catcher. I would cut loose one of our 3 catchers, most likely Valentin. As for Dickerson, let him show what he can do as a reserve this year in Cincinnati. If he continues to perform, we have found our short-term center fielder, and a move to right(his natural position) could be in order for Bruce next year.

Ray Liotta pitched against them the night before and he told them that they needed to "swing and miss a few times for some friends of his".
