Bronson with a pretty easy first inning. 0-0.

Interesting with EdE in the 3 hole. Not sure I've EVER seen that before.

According to Chris, Dusty might be "managing by the seat of his pants" tonight.

Brandon Phillips could be a dynamite player if he didn't swing at every pitch within the two batters boxes. Hopefully he'll learn someday.

Man, that's so true. He'll even admit he goes out there to swing. you'd think our illustrous hitting coach would say something to him, but since he's the supposed face of the franchise and the anointed team leader with Jr. gone, that's probably out of the question.

Or get picked off second. Or cover his head like a school girl when trying to catch a pop fly. (I was at yesterday's game and I'm still a bit upset)

Careful. I called him a butcher in the field the other day and got a lecture. I probably deserved it, but sometimes he does. In fact, he had a bad series in Washington.

Manny "Cy Young" Para strikes out the side in the second. Dunn looking, the other two swinging.

I guess this home plate ump doesn't ask the other umps if the batter swung or not?
