The only hits for the Cards were a one-out single by Tim McCarver in the second inning, a one-out single by Lou Brock in the eighth, a one-out single by Bobby Tolan in the eleventh, followed by a game-winning RBI double by Roger Maris.

    I have noticed Dale Murphy playing first base for the Braves and didn't realize he played at least some there. I guess they were trying at different positions since he didn't work at catcher.
