    5. Dunn Ks swinging in a 10 pitch AB.

Final score: Astros 3, Reds 1.

Astros pitchers threw a total of 110 pitches tonight through 9 innings. Reds only struck out 4 times, but could do nothing. One walk, five hits. Absolutely pitiful. Dunn saw 24 of those 110 pitches. Everyone else just hacked away.

Arroyo threw more than that in 2 less innings.

Dusty should talk to his players about working the count. In the 2nd or 3rd, Astros threw only 6 pitches for 3 outs.

Which, ironically, brings up another Welshism... the guy brought up for Votto (can't remember his name). Chris said he fits right in by hacking at the first pitch.

Very true. The Reds don't pay Marty, though, I believe.

Dusty vs. Stone circa 2004 came to mind.

Arroyo only pitched 6. He threw 118 pitches in 6, compared to 110 pitches in 9 innings.

According to the Astros site Carlos Lee is going to have surgery on his pinky finger and will be out 6-8 weeks.

Well, I'm under .500 for the first time in awhile... I blame my old man. My Dad has only been to two games and the Reds lost both.

Another painful night to be a Reds' fan.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

True, but I was responding to a comment regarding announcers.
