Re: Monday August 11th minor league updates

    Dayton trails 8-4 after 6 1/2 innings.

    Cozart: 3-for-3 homerun (#13)
    Soto: 0-for-2 sac fly
    Waring: 0-for-3
    Mesoraco: 1-for-3
    Reed: 1-for-3 triple

    Ravin: 2.2 IP, 6 H, 8 R, 6 ER, 7 BB, 0 K

    Thurman: 3.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K

Thurman's first appearance in Dayton was a disaster as he allowed four runs on two hits and walked two batters without retiring a batter, and now he bounces back tonight in his second appearance by retiring all 10 batters he has faced, including four via the strikeout.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Carlos Fisher has been fairly impressive so far in Louisville:

    10 1/3 IP, 0.84 ERA, 6 hits, 1 run, 1 ER, 6 BB, 14 K

A small sample size, but fairly impressive.

I give him a September callup.
