Dayton put a two spot on the board in the first inning thanks to a double by Kahaulelio, a single by Cozart, and RBI singles from Waring and Mesoraco.

Probably just a spot start, but it will be interesting to see if he stays up any longer than that, and how he does...

They may let him play out the season in Sarasota. He is older than Reed and I don't see any other Dayton candidates to fill the CF spot vacated by Heisey.

    Dayton won 5-3.

    Cozart: 1-for-4
    Soto: 1-for-4 double
    Waring: 2-for-4
    Mesoraco: 1-for-4

    Guerrero: 5 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K

    Gonzalez: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K

Gonzalez is ridiculous...he's now thrown 30 innings of 0 ER ball while allowing only 12 hits and posting a 13 BB/37 K ratio.
