Louisville is still tied at 4 in the 12th inning.

Stubbs just dropped down a sac bunt. He's got a double and homerun tonight and has bunted his last two times up.

Bats take a 2 run lead in the 12th. Adkins in for the save. Currently one out with a runner on first.

Bats win 6-4.. Adkins gives up a single, then a line out, then a double play.

Well, that pretty much sucked by Thompson. I don't know what to make of it. I guess we leave him down there and let him get a few more starts in before the season is over.

It's stuff like this why you don't bring a guy up a level too early. You take a chance on going one step forward, but if you are wrong, it's two steps back. Hopefully this won't happen to Stubbs.

I think Thompson will be alright next year, though, whatever results happen the rest of this year. They shut him down before any damage physically could be done.

How did Thompson's level cause his injury? Just curious.
