Aguido Gonzalez may have given up his first ER of the year but he showed some serious guts. With the tying run at third and the winning run at second and 5,000 fans screaming, he struck out the #4 hitter and the #5 hitter in the opposing lineup with 93 mph fastballs to end the game. That is what it is all about. Can you get it done when everything is on the line? He found a way to get it done. That's a guy you want. A lot of guys can go out there and pitch when there is no pressure, but when you've got the whole game on your shoulders and you reach back and find something extra, you go beyond your stats.
Cool. Nice to hear.
