Dickerson doubles off a lefty to begin the Reds half of the 7th. Need to get him in.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, Dusty has Cabrera bunting and Molina guns Dickerson down at 3rd. Way to cost us a potential big inning Dusty. What an awful manager.

And now Bruce singles. Poor managing/baserunning has cost the Reds at least two runs today.

Sigh. Another case of a sacrifice costing us a run. Sacrificing is just bad baseball 95% of the time. When it works, it doesn't dramatically improve your chances of scoring. When it fails, it dramatically decreases your chances.

Luckily BP makes it a moot point. WTG BP! Keep killing that low inside pitch from lefties.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

After the Bruce single, the stupid bunt costs us a run after the Jay Bruce single.

I want Fay to ask Dusty why bunt there? Also, was it Phillips idea to run or was he going on a sign?

    Quick: trade 'em.

With a 6-0 lead and Volquez at 97 pitches there is no way he should go back out for the 8th inning.

Want to keep Cordero from blowing it at all costs, though. Weathers for two innings, IMO. Far as I'm concerned preserving leads for Volquez is all that matters for the remainder of the season. Keep him in the Cy Young running.
