I'd try to deal them Hairston or Kepp if the return is proper. Any chance of this happening?

Nope, cuz they'd both get claimed.
So make a deal with some other team then.
Give them Gonzalez
Whatcha gonna do, brother, when Brennemania runs wild on you!!
Hairston and Kepp is nothing like the veteran SS the Angels are looking for. JHJ's bat (this season) would play nicely, but his defense is sub-par. Kepp is not hitting and he has zero range at SS. I don't think the Angels would want 2 backups (at best) to fill their SS position going into the postseason.
I don't think any other team besides the Reds would see either as a SS.

Erick Aybar is way better than both of those 2. I would be happy if I never had to watch Keppinger play SS again. Any other position, I'll be glad to watch him as a utility player.
And if they are looking for a backup, they will not want a SS who is a slouch defensively, that is not the Angels style of play.
who on the reds that are tradeable, would any team look at, at this point? weathers maybe? unlikely he moves. i think people are overvaluing our players.
whered u hear that the angels wanna vet SS? i think their content wit aybar n izturis. keep in mind they got sean rodriguez n brandon wood stashed away.
