Rosales and Barker each had two out singles in the first but the Bats failed to score.

Homer has allowed a run on two hits in the first inning.

Devin Mesoraco homers in his first atbat to give Dayton a 1-0 lead after 2 1/2 innings. Mesoraco has homered in his last two plate appearances dating back to last night. He's now up to nine homeruns.

Re: Monday August 18th minor league updates

Rosales now has an eight game hitting streak and has seven straight multi hit games dating back to before he was called up to Cincinnati. Check out his last seven game including three innings of tonight's game:

    3-for-5 two doubles
    4-for-5 double, homerun
    2-for-4 triple
    2-for-4 walk
    3-for-5 two doubles, homerun
    2-for-5 double
    2-for-2 homerun (tonight)

I think it's safe to say he is seeing the ball well right now.

Kevin Barker followed Rosales with a solo homerun of his own to make it 4-1. Wilkin Castillo singled for his first hit in the Reds organization but was caught stealing.

    4-1 Louisville after 2 1/2 innings.

Rosales OPS over .800 now. Remarkable after his awful start that included a .461 OPS in April and .676 in May. 170+ plus awful plate appearances dug a huge hole.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
