    Ken Griffey filled the offensive black hole in RF, much like Dan Driessen filled the offensive black hole at 3B.

    I don't remember Scott Randall at all. I thought I was keeping pretty close track of the Reds at this time. I guess not.

    All I remember was that he was one of a number of late-season callups who were assigned numbers in the 60's (and in a couple of cases, the 70's). I think he was #65.
