I'm thinking that around July of next year he and Cozart will be making one mean middle IF for SAR.

Josh Beal throws a 1-2-3 8th inning but Billings trails 5-1 after eight innings. Beal has been very impressive with Billings: 24.2 IP, 22 H, 8 BB/37 K, 2.19 ERA. He's only 20 years old so keep an eye on him.

I'm curious - does anyone have splits for Billings? Is Buchholz hitting both lefties and righties well? I've been high on him since he was drafted but I try to keep in mind this is a short season league and a hitter's league - it isn't all that rare for a prospect to get hot and have a scary looking summer there.

He's a righty hitting better against righties so far.....
