    Anyone Else Watching Yanks-Tigers?

When I left the room, the Yankees had a 9 run lead, so I really wasn't paying a lot of attention. When I came back, it was 11-8, and the Tigers had the tying run at the plate.

That was through 4 innings, and the Tigers once again have the tying run up with 1 out in the 5th. Both teams are working on their 3rd pitcher of the game.

You've got to love AL baseball. Game has been going on for 3 hours and it's the top of the 7th, NYY up 13-9...
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Meh, ending at 13-9 is kind of disappointing, when it was already 11-8 through 4.
