camisadelgolf Attempt at BCubb2003's "Random Thoughts"

If the Reds play against the Cubs and Indians at GABP 10 times per year, does that mean the Reds have home field advantage only 71 games per year?

I wonder what will be higher at the end of the year: Corey Patterson's OPS as a Red or Adam Dunn's OBP as a Diamondback?

This year, Corey Patterson has a 1.300 OPS with a .500 OBP when the count is full. Maybe he could be a great hitter if his attitude were 'take the free pass or don't strike out' instead of 'be aggressive'.

I wonder if Dusty Baker's idea of being more aggressive at the plate was simply chasing Dunn out of town.

What would you do if you found out that Dunn's contract wasn't extended as a result of clubhouse tension between he and Arroyo?

If I changed my username from 'camisadelgolf' to 'Rickey Henderson of RedsZone', would I become the 'Chad Ocho Cinco' of RedsZone?

If Krivsky liked to acquire hitters to try them as pitchers (McBeth, Hrynio, Gil, Roenicke, Gaffney, Coutlangus, et al), and the Reds' starting left fielder next year is a pitcher (i.e. Micah Owings), does that mean Jocketty would be the anti-Krivst?

Since 2000, the Reds, armed with Adam Dunn, have had an average of 2.2 players per year who have struck out 100+ times over an entire season. This year, the Reds will probably have six in Paul Bako, Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, Edwin Encarnacion, Adam Dunn, and Jay Bruce.

Amazingly, Corey Patterson, who struck out 168 times during his career year in 2004, has only 46 strikeouts this year. Maybe Patterson, of all people, should be more aggressive at the plate.

    Clever.

Here's one, if Bako plays catcher, is he playing out of position?

If Keppinger plays third, EE moves to left, Bruce plays CF, Votto moves to right, Javier plays first, Freel plays second, and Phillips moves to short, who should play catcher?

I think it might be easier to figure out what happens if two trains leave a station heading in opposite directions... or some such thing.
