Cueto, we obviously know his story... but I don't think he has the potential of a Wieters. He's going to be a good pitcher, but not an upper echelon one IMO. Wieters would be one of the few prospects I'd entertain the notion of trading Cueto for.

I disagree. He's got three plus pitches and good command of all three. I think he's got a chance to be an ace in a couple of years.

Just me thinking out loud here, but I think a legit .850+ OPS catcher is more valuable than an ace pitcher so long as the guy can play defense.

Honestly, that was a very easy choice for them. He has torn the cover off of the ball all year and done it while playing catcher.

Is it a prospect thing? Because quite frankly, Nelson Cruz was better.
