Cameron pops out to Votto. Both teams are hitless through two innings.

Phillips HBP, Hanigan FC, Arroyo FC, Hairston walks, Keppinger singles. Bases loaded with two outs for Votto.

Today wouldn't have been a bad day to give Rosales a start at 1B against the tough lefty.

He has to sit so Dusty can protect the integrity of the playoff races.

Votto K's swinging on a 2-2 breaking ball down and away.

Tough matchup for Joey today. I agree with your earlier post concerning Rosales. Today might have been a good day to play him at 1B and give Votto a rest.

Arroyo walks Craig Counsell to begin the bottom of the third inning. There's nothing more frustrating than watching the pitcher walk a weak hitter.

Kendall flies out to RF. Counsell goes to third on the throwing error by Bruce.

Kendall flies out to Bruce in shallow RF but he airmails the throw into the Brewers dugout as he attempted to nail Counsell at first base. Counsell advances to third base and scores on a Sabathia groundout. The Brewers have a run despite not having a hit. And now Durham singles.

10 errors so far this season by Bruce per Marty. That is not good.

Thanks for the details. Gameday just said "throwing error".

Hardy grounds out. That should go as an unearned run.

He's made all the tough plays and messes up some of the easier ones. He'll be fine IMO.

I've heard similar comments about Encarnacion.
