Neftali Soto led the organization with a .340 BA.

Actually Buchholz lead with a .397 avg. I pulled this from the Reds web-site. It may be based on a
minimum number of at-bats or they just missed Soto. Here is the link:

Oops. Forgot about Buchholz though he only had 134 atbats.

Unless I missed it, I have not seen Misael DeJesus discussed on the board this year. He has put up good numbers at Dayton last year and Sarasota this year. K rate indicates that he might have a strong arm. His level seems age appropriate, but one can't be sure of his age. Has anyone seem him pitch? BTW, he finished strongly this year giving him an ERA that should have qualified for the list.

My opinion is that he's the most underrated prospect in the Reds' system at the moment. I'm not predicting huge things for him or anything, but 260 strikeouts and only 90 walks in 242.2 IP gets my attention. He'll probably be in AA as a 24-year-old next year. I see him as more of a reliever, personally, but I like what he has done so far both as a starter and as a reliever.

Ramon Ramirez has 145 strikeouts between Chattanooga and Louisville. IIrc, he was second in the organization (behind Johnny Cueto) for strikeouts in 2007.

He also has 12 strikeouts so far for Cincinnati, not sure if we are counting those as well.
