    Kentucky Fans

I don't think we'll have to worry about them posting here anymore. They all just died of a heart attack.

Haha. So if I'm reading ESPN's play-by-play correctly, MTSU threw a hail mary and was tackled at the 1 yardline? :o

You are correct. Seiber was going to kick a short FG with 20 seconds left and up 20-14.
It was blocked and ran back which set up last play.
    BTW..it was seiber's 4th miss of the night !

Yeah, trying that FG ranks up there among the worst coaching decisions I've ever seen.

How do you figure? If we hit that field goal, 32 yarder I believe, we are up by 9 points and the game is out of reach.

With Sieber kicking, even the UK announcers saw that coming. Having that kick blocked was the ONLY way UK could have lost.

With that mentality, you would never kick a field goal because of the chance it might be blocked. It was not the "kickers" fault it got blocked.

If Kentucky gave the ball over on downs, the same "hail mary" could of taken place anyway.

    You kick the field goal.

There would have been about 15 seconds left, and MTSU would have had the ball on their own 10. There was NO reason to kick. It was a terrible choice. ]

And with Seiber kicking, UK probably shouldn't ever kick FGs.

Kentucky fans are used to that type of stuff happening, we're just in shock that the Cats came out on the good side.

It was literally 1 yard from being a repeat of the "bayou miracle" a few seasons ago against LSU. Closer than the Titans final drive against the Rams in the super bowl. I agree, "a win is a win" but the Cats got outplayed IMO.

He was pretty solid last year in pressure situations. The LSU and Tenn games come to mind. And they would of had the ball on the 20-22 yard line with 20 seconds. They threw the "hail mary" from the Kentucky 38 yard line.

It was a 32 yard field goal attempt I believe. How was the block Seiber's fault? Brooks said on the post game show that it was a missed block.

Seiber had a bad game I grant you that, but I would not throw him under the bus just yet. His misses were solid kicks, he just missed them. They had plenty of distance.

Where kentucky screwed up that drive was when we had a
1st down to ice the game and it was called back on a penalty.

I wonder if Rich Brooks will rip the fans again. Seiber got booed much harder than Hartline did last week and Brooks blew up about that. He's a decent kicker, he had a HORRIBLE night.

Seiber is terrible, I'm not sure what they were thinking, but happy to get a win without Randall Cobb and Micah Johnson... I'll take it.

Yeah, and Micah was having a huge game. He just seems to get better and better.
Seiber was 16-32 in his career outside of 30 yards and that was before the misses. That is terrible. Brooks said after the game he will open up the kicking position next week in practice but he said only problem is everytime he does this, "seiber wins it" .
It seems hard to figure how they can land some of the guys they are getting but cant find a decent kicker or should i say a consistent kicker from over 30 yards.
