    2009 Schedule Released Today

Wow, this was crazy early for MLB to do but they've actually got all the team's 2009 schedules posted on their website! Below is a link to the Reds schedule which doesn't look too bad aside from a "17 games in a row with no days off" stretch in the later part of the season. One question, WTH do we play Toronto again!? We're supposed to be playing the AL Central next year. We do play KC and the White Sox but maybe Cleveland also counts in that instead of just being our in state rival so they had to add another team?! I have no clue.

"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

wow, that is early, the season is starting late this year though, April 6th, is like a week later than this season, which I believe was March 31st.

Look on the bright side... with the schedule going so late, you can guarantee the Reds will be playing in October

Now maybe the Reds ticket office will get smart and start selling tickets before Christmas so people can buy tickets for gifts.

Looking at the other NL Central teams, it looks like everyone, with the exception of Houston which plays Texas, plays the AL Central.
