    David Foster Wallace RIP

The best (fiction and non-fiction) writer in the USA died on Monday. He was also a great college professor and another estimable Amherst graduate.
Here are some personal memories of the man:

    Re: David Foster Wallace RIP

I'm not sure that I'm more upset by his death(any suicide is tragic) or the fact I hadn't heard of him until this.
When people say that I donít know what Iím talking about when it comes to sports or writing, I think: Man, you should see me in the rest of my life.
