    David Foster Wallace RIP

    The best (fiction and non-fiction) writer in the USA died on Monday. He was also a great college professor and another estimable Amherst graduate.

    I'm not sure that I'm more upset by his death(any suicide is tragic) or the fact I hadn't heard of him until this.
