Joey Votto Reds Representative for Hank Aaron Award

He has a snowball's chance in you know where of winning this thing being in the same league as Berkman, Fielder, and Pujols, but I think it's awesome that he got recognized as part of the nominees! Go Joey!!

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Awesome. Votto is just a flat out stud. What a rookie season. I agree though, there is no way he wins the award, but the fact that he's up for it says a lot about his potential for the years to come.

There is the whole big fish in a small pond analogy, but come on, he is just a rook.
