    Anyone sick of Boston?

I don't know if anyone else is tired of Boston winning, but man I hope they lose to the Rays. I guess they are this decade what the Yankees were in the 90s. The team that you are tired of seeing in the World Series every year. I just don't want to see the Red sox win the series AGAIN this year, or this decade.

I want the BoSox and Dodgers in the World Series and I want to see Manny hit 6 HR's against them and carry the Dodgers to the World Championship. I think that would be funny.

No-way, no-how do I want the Dodgers or Red Sox, either one, to win this year's World Series.

I'm only 21 but I've had a long line of Dodger hatred bred into me through my family, and I'm just plain sick of the Red Sox. Not to mention it gets a tad annoying that you'd think they won the '75 series from all of those Fisk HR replays. But I digress.

I like a Cinderella story so I'm hoping the Rays win the ALCS, and I'll be rooting for the Phillies in the NL. I'd ultimately like the Rays to win the WS, they're just a fun team to watch.

If the Red Sox and Dodgers are in the World Series, the Monster Seats in Fenway will be the most expensive ticket in the history of sports.

Actually, I really want the Rays to win it all.

The BoSox-Dodgers thing would make great TV though.

Since they won the 2004 series, there's no escaping the Red Sox. ESPN takes pleasure in shoving them (and the Yankees) down our throats at every opportunity. I would laugh in false stunned amazement whenever neither of those two teams were on the WWmL.

That and the Patriots and Celtics have won too much recently for my tastes. Having a team in three major championship games or series in a calendar year is more than a single city deserves.

I guess that was a long way of saying yes, I am sick of Boston.

I was sick of Boston way back in '93 after 2 years of living there. "Hub of the Universe" my A$$.

If I have to watch those egotistical, bastards in the WS again, it better be while Manny is kicking their butts.

    GO RAYS!

If it was just the Red Sox I wouldn't care, but when you throw in the Pats and Celtics it is just too much. I have never had a professional sports team that I root for win a championship (I moved to Cincinnati 2 years after the Reds won the World Series). I just hope Boston fans know how lucky they are.

I dont really care, I dont have a dog in this fight, I just want good baseball in this years series, whoever it is. The Reds arent in, that drops interest off the bat for me a little. It isn't the Cubs or Yanks, which is my only preference to not make it in. I have a lil liking for the Sox from my time up there-have been to more Sox games then any other team ( I agree with they play the Fisk clip too often, and act like it ws the winner). I like the Rays cause I have season tix to the Durham Bulls, their AAA team, and have watched a lot of this team come up through the ranks. To be honest, I dont have much preference on the NL rep at this point.

How can you not pull for the Rays to knock off the BoSox?

I would prefer it, but not to any great degree really.
