Greatest day offensively by a Red in the last 10 years

Ya know, I hate this time of year. I'm not much of a football fan, hate the NBA and only casually follow hockey. So I troll over the reds website looking at highlights of the past year.

It would be easy to pick something like Votto's 3 HR game, or Dunn's walkoff against the tribe. But for some reason I have man love for Freel this week, so I'll go with Freel Swipes 5 bases against the Dodgers Click the linky for a video highlight.

He completely demoralized the Dodgers. Well I pretty sure he ruined their catcher's day. Ryan Freel in 2005 was a fun player to watch.

That gets my vote as well, woy. I remember that game like it was yesterday. Eight different Reds had 3+ hits in that game. Wow.

Longer than ten years ago and not one game, but I remember Barry hitting five home runs in two days. I think it was in 1991 and I was lucky enough to be in attendance for both games.

I think that was near or around the date that Greg Vaughn had a team meeting screaming at the lazy people on the team.

You could argue it either way. Casey reached base 7 times and never made an out. He drove in 1 more runner and scored the same as Hammonds. I'd say Casey had the better day.

I think the Reds catcher for this game had a particularly outstanding game.

Casey did get caught stealing and Hammonds had 14 TB's to Casey's 10

The extra dinger helped, but casey got on base more, Hammonds drove himself in 3 times, but Casey was better at avoiding outs, except for the CS.

It's close, and I could see an argument for either player.

I had Hammonds active on my fantasy baseball roster that day.

Honorable mention should go to Deion Sanders' 3 for 3 night, with a home run and stolen base, upon returning in 2001.
