Passion of the Christ is the one that I always think about. I bawled.

Great movie, just difficult to watch.

Hands down, "Planes, Trains, & Automobiles." Once is enough.

    Ghostbusters a close second.

I can't even think of a movie that I was glad I watched and wouldn't consider watching it again. Perhaps the passion of the christ and letters from Iwo Jima falls under that because I don't plan on re-watching them. Whether or not i'm glad I seen them is the question. I haven't watched Pans Labryinth but I'm assuming it might be a perfect fit for this topic.

Talk about eclectic, I haven't even heard of any of those except BBB and I loved that whole series, Annette Funicello was easy on the eyes. And the tall guy with the pilgrims hat was a fun character to follow.

    Changeling

I saw it yesterday and it was great; Angelina Jolie definitely deserves an Oscar nod for the role. But I doubt I will ever watch it again. The whole deal with the kids was a little disturbing. Its not the type of movie you re-watch.

There was no soundtrack, the plane crash was filmed from inside the plane, he didn't get the girl, and the philosophical questions it raised about relationships were terrific. And again- I cared about a volleyball.

One of my favorite lines from that film is when they tell Tom Hanks they had his funeral, and he says something like, "What did you put in the casket?"

And as much as I loved it, I don't know if I could watch it again, though.
Several years ago I was in a bad car accident, and was laid up for a couple of months taking oxycontin and recovering. I watched Castaway probably 60 times in that time frame.

    Brilliant movie.

Could this include movies that came out with a lot of hype, maybe because of the director's resume and successful previous work?..... only to put out a dud!

For me it is most movies. Only a couple make my re-watch list, all the rest I simply get bored with a second time. Schindler's List and Passion of the Christ were both difficult, and rewarding or enriching or disturbing. I'm not sure which but watching them again would be painful.

I saw that. But I can't say I'm glad about it.

Good one. I wasn't right for a couple days after that one.
