Just watched "Walk Hard" on Starz......only one clunker joke during the hour and a half....John C. Reilly nailed the role of Dewey Cox perfectly (a not so veiled parody of Elvis/Dylan/Cash), Tim Meadow was hilarious and looking at Jenna Fischer (Pam of "The Office" fame) all dolled up isnt bad at all....

Last new movie i saw was Pineapple express and it was funny enough to make me laugh

Last movie I actually watched was Forrest Gump on one of these movie channels. You all know the review for that one.

That's the last one I saw. Pretty funny. I'd like to think I've grown out of Kevin Smith movies, but I still laugh whenever I see them.

Last new movie I saw was Max Payne

It was about what I expected though

But Im glad I watched it online for free and didn't pay for it

Mark Wahlberg did a fine job of playing Max Payne

Ludacris was good as Jim Bavura

I just wish they wouldn't have made it so "video gamey," if you know what I mean

I recently watched Iron Man...LOVED IT! My only complaint was they waited until the closing credits to play the old Black Sabbath tune, 'Iron Man'...the anticipation was killing me. They really should have played it when he first appeared in the makeshift iron suit.

Also saw Get Smart. It was kind of cute, but not very reminiscent of the original series. I'm very lukewarm on it.

Last movie I saw was Thank You For Smoking. Quite a thought provoking comedy, I enjoyed it.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

    Synecdoche, New York

It's challenging, and it'll probably take a few viewings to piece it together, but Charlie Kaufman movies are always incredibly enjoyable experiences. He's always got one identifiable core idea in each of his movies, and it's quite clearly Death in Synecdoche. Great cast, Samantha Morton (Morvern Caller) is her usual great self.

Zak and Miri. Really enjoyed it on a couple different levels. The first for the sophomoric type jokes/humor - they are interlaced very well so that you get a chuckle but they don't take over the movie.. Second, (and more of a reason to see the film than the first) is a well made non traditional love story.
Nothing to see here. Please disperse.
