    Dunn in free agency

The moment of truth is here. Who will sign him and for how much?

    My guess --

An A.L. team. Three years, $42 million with a team option for a fourth year and a big buyout if it's not exercised.

I'll take a flyer on Tampa Bay trying to go over the top.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear. You have to pick a team.

I'll guess the White Sox are getting rid of some salary in order to add a big LH OPS bat to go with Carlos Quentin.

    I'll go with 4 years, $60M.

Yep. And punishes the crap out of the Reds pitching.

When I think of a team that needs hitting to get them over the top, I'm thinking Toronto. Tons of pitching, hurting for a bat. DH fits very nicely there. 4 years at 62 million.

I really don't want to see Dunn sign with an NL Central team. Unless it's the Reds of course.

Just so you know, the talk all around here in Houston is that the Astros are looking to DUMP salary for prospects. They're fully aware of how decimated their farm system is. Tejada, Valverde, Bourne, Lee...they're all pretty much on the block. The only acquisitions I see them making is on the pitching front. Hawkins they already signed and Wolf will probably be next.
