    Nice win for the Muskies.

Lots of room to grow for the Muskies. I wasn't particularly impressed with either team tonight, to tell you the truth. But as Skip used to say about road games: "Get in, get a win, get out." No style points needed on the road. Happy to have the win.

A road win at an SEC team's gym is nothing to sneeze at. Plus Vandy has some real talent.

Holloway and Lyons will take X a long way.

The Xavier guards simply took over late in the game. It was beautiful to watch.

Their middle is sitting on the bench, Ezili. When he comes back that will help them out a lot.

Good win for X. Holloway is as good as gets for a guard. He should carry them a long way this season. I could see them as a 3 or 4 seed very easily.

Xavier with one of the better comebacks I've seen today. Tu is just unreal.

As a UD fan it pains me to say this, but this is a pretty special xavier team. The entire game I just knew that they would find a way to win it, I've just come to expect it. There isn't another player in the game I would rather have the ball in the hands of at the end of a game needing a score than Holloway. He's on a level all by himself.

Now I need a drink, lol.

Beating Butler always has a particularly nice feel to it. Hearing Xavier chants ring through an emptying Hinkle Fieldhouse was a lot of fun. Now on to The Crosstown Shootout where hopefully X will put together their first full 40 of the year.

Yes we are. We will be playing with a short bench for a game or two.

    Wells 4, walkon 4, Lyons 2, Tu 1

That 4 for Wells is pretty damned stiff when you consider it means missing a trip to Hawaii. Not sure if he'll make the trip or do Christmas in Raleigh.

I agree but clearly the UC fans do not. They think he should have received at least as much as Yancy. Ludicrous. UC would not have even suspended Holloway.
