    Washington Amerindians @ Cincinnati Bungles

This should be a terrible game. I'm on an unreliable internet connection, so I probably won't be able to watch all of it anyway.

The Bengals just forced Cooley to fumble. The Bengals recovered the ball.

Cedric Benson actually gained more than a yard one a toss. Wow. The Bengals have second and short on the Redskins' 33.

Andre Caldwell (whose brother is an ex-Redskin) just got the first down on the end-around.

Benson runs for another seven yards. Even though Levi Jones is out, the left side of the line is getting the job done so far. Or maybe I should say, because Levi Jones is out . . .

The Redskins are penalized for encroachment. First down.

Fitzpatrick scrambled to the one yard line. First and goal.

    Touchdown Bengals?

Fitzpatrick runs it in for the touchdown. Pending the XP, 7-0 Bengals.

7-0 Bengals. Yes, that's the Cincinnati Bengals that are winning. Go buy a lottery ticket or something.

The announcers said it best. "That is a terrible start for the Redskins."

Don't worry, there's still enough time for Washington to score 70 points.

The Bengals had gone 11 quarters without a touchdown.

Kyle Larson punted the ball, and it went 30+ yards without going out of bounds. Randle El lost yards on the return.

Campbell is looking worse than Fitzpatrick. The Redskins' third possession ends in a punt. The Bengals have the ball at their five yard line.

I really think Benson could be a decent back next year. Grab another back via FA or late in the draft, improve the line via Andre Smith and another FA, and get CP back healthy and this could be a much better offensive team next year.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.
