I'm starting to think that Fitzpatrick is shrinking. More and more passes are getting deflected every week.

He has to be. I also think there's a part of him that wants to prove he can succeed without Ocho Cinco opposite him.

The Colts' best defensive tackle weighs 245 pounds.

If my math is right, Kyle Larson just had an 17-yard punt. That can't be right, can it? The way Larson has been playing lately, I would just say the Bengals should try for a field goal if they're in Colts territory.

Domata Peko is hurt. The NFL's longest IR list isn't long enough apparently.

edit: He's staying in the game.

In other shocking news, the Lions have a 3-0 lead over the Vikings.

Dang, almost made it a full quarter without falling behind.

    The rout is on.

Dominic Rhodes scores a touchdown. Pending the extra point, the Colts are 7-0. But for almost an entire quarter, the Bengals weren't losing.

Kyle Larson may be the worst punter in the league. That is his 2nd punt this game of about 25 yards.

Kyle Larson leads the NFL in punts and punts it out of bounds. What the heck is wrong with him?

On anothern note, I'm glad Stacy Andrews was franchised. Without him, the Bengals offensive line wouldn't be so good.

We will never, ever, ever see the Bengals play good football.

Dallas Clark fumbles the ball, and the Bengals claim it for a touchback. It doesn't matter, though. It just doesn't matter.

Re: Peyton Manning & Other Guys vs. Bungles

Bungles recover the fumble for a touchback. Had that not been a touchback, my money would be on a safety on the first snap. Shoot, it may not even matter where they start this drive.
What if this wasn't a rhetorical question?

All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.
