    Tigers acquire catcher (Laird)

That's good news for Reds fans. Too much like Hannigan.
    More info here:

I rather have IRod's tutelage for young Hannigan.

Rangers have acquired Minor League pitchers Guillermo Moscoso and Carlos Melo from the Tigers for catcher Gerald Laird.

    Saltalamacchia anyone?

I think the Rangers are done dealing catchers. I'd move on to Kelly Shoppach, either one of Arizona's catchers, Brian Schneider, or Ramon Hernandez...

I also believe the Rangers are likely finished trading in that area. From what I've read I'm hoping Ramon Hernandez (for Ryan Freel) will be a reality in short order.
