Use of the term should definitely result in mandatory sentencing.

True but it's not pronounced, Gat-ors. It's Gat-ers. And if you hear the G-ers only, it's conceivable it could be mistaken for a racial slur. Not that I think this guy's in the right but you could make a case that the two words have similar sounds in them.
I'll have to keep this article in mind when the Steelers come to Cincinnati next year.
