    The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

    The lowest acceptable payroll amount for ownership to show they are not greedy pigs is 15 million more than they are currently paying. No matter what that currently is.

    I'd rather spend that $50,000 on five waiver claims, which cost $10,000 each, iIrc, and the quality of players are usually much better. I like the idea of taking fliers on players, but I think there are better uses for 40-man roster spots.
