    Moises Alou

MLB.com's Mark Sheldon adds that Moises Alou's agent contacted Walt Jocketty, but the Reds aren't interested. Nor are they interested in Garrett Anderson. Sheldon adds that there's been "no real activity towards reviving the Jermaine Dye deal."

I wouldn't want Alou if he was willing to play for free. Too old and injury prone. Anderson would be a pass too.

I would be suprised if Alou gets a guaranteed deal anywhere.

Ten years ago Anderson may have been worth a look. He should stay in the AL. I think he'd be better as a DH for someone.

I feel better with Jocketty at the helm than I have in quite awhile. The players he's targeting may be older, but you mix in those guys with the young guys on the roster and it's a pretty good mix. Hes' not just making moves to make moves. I, for one am tired of the constant "rebuild" that has gone on for the last 9 seasons.
