    Vizquel wants to play again

Worth a flyer? Solid defensive option at SS, but the bat fell off last year....

Maybe as a cheap backup. With the health of Agon he could help as insurance.

It also looks like his range was down as well as his offense. At this point in Vizquel's career, Janish provides as much defensive insurance. Plus Janish is cheaper and on the upside of his career. I wish the Reds had signed OV four years ago.

I question if Janish will ever hit well, but I do think the zone has written his bat off too soon. His LD% has increased consistently from an abysmal 10% to 20% last year. He has shown an ability to adjust at different levels. In his 80 ABs at the ML level he saw some RHPs that overpowered him. Still, I think he is much better than the .190 hitter he has shown to date.
