FWIW, I talked to a source fairly close to the situation (I think the same source that was quoted in the story) and also heard that everyone in the cab will be testifying that AK made no physical contact with the cabbie and that everything started over a racial slur being directed by the cabbie towards one of the passengers.
The source indicated that they had heard the cabbie was already retaining a civil attorney for potential civil suit.
This whole situation sounds fishy as hell.

They originaly said that AK's lawyer team was going to get the cabbie for claiming that he hit him on the wrong side of the face, but that would be the right side through a window??? I hope he gets out of all this I like him. I am a UC student and received a few calls from my friend who was at Lodge Bar the same time he was and said AK and his crew were drilling shots of patron!!!! I love it couldn't have just had dinner like he said in his original report when they don't even serve food either, and 1am come on
