I've given the show a second chance since they have been running it fairly often leading to season two.. It has grown on me. I gave up on it after a couple episodes when it first ran.

I had to bring this thread back after buying the Season 2 DVD and re-watching all the episodes again. I thought they were pretty good the first time around but not great, but watching them again there's sooo much good stuff and some great songs.
I think Carol Brown may very well be my current favorite of all time (I loved it as soon as it aired):

Jemaine is nominated for an Emmy Award....no joke. The show itself is nominated for a few as well. HBO series have a pretty good track record at the Emmys. Could be a good night for them.
I heard the show isn't coming back. I think i heard them say in an interview that it's too hard to come up with new content.
Season 1 was amazing bc they had years worth of material that they had reworked to perfection. Look up some of their old performances on youtube-not as polished).
Season 2 was disappointing IMO. Here's to hoping they find inspiration and make a triumphant return.
