I went with Sean Henry at #29. He's coming off a season in which he combined to hit .286/.362/.451 - .813 OPS between High-A and Double-A. He then followed that up with a .327/.389/.429 - .817 line in the Arizona Fall League. He may start the season in Louisville and have a chance to reach Cincy late in the year if he plays well.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Given what he did tonite in a big spot, this may be low. The kid has really electric stuff.

Even if he gives up runs in the 7th, this has been eye-opening.

Sam Lecure and Jordan Smith aren't being received very well. I hope they don't get discouraged.

I'm sure the Reds have noted their considerable abilities, reflected in performances last year.

    Camisa,

Weren't you voting for someone else a few picks ago?
"On-base percentage is great if you can score runs and do something with that on-base percentage," Baker said. "Clogging up the bases isn't that great to me."

I was trying to rally behind Ismael Guillon, but based on everyone's response, I decided there's no chance he'll get voted in the top-30, no matter how hard I try to pull for him. It's understandable, though, since he's never thrown a professional pitch for the Reds. Therefore, I'm going with Dave Sappelt, who is a five-tool player who has put up great stats. The only knock against him is that he's 5'9", but Kirby Puckett was 5'8", had the same skill set, and made it into the Hall of Fame. It's uncanny how similar Sappelt and Puckett could be when it's all said and done.

If Sulbaran wins this one, I turn to Guillon.

Sappelt is a toolsy, stocky outfielder who turns 22 next month and will almost definitely be Dayton's starting center fielder. Baseball America rated Sappelt as the Reds' best defensive draft pick of 2008.

Let me sum that up for you:
Sappelt is said to play an above-average center field, which is a prime defensive positon, and on top of that, he is very toolsy and has production to go with it.

Before he was drafted, scouts questioned his strike zone knowledge, but Sappelt is quickly putting that question to rest, managing to put together a .354 OBP while striking out only 45 times in 62 games.

That leaves only one thing working against him: his size. He's only 5'9", but somehow, he manages to put up good power numbers. Keep in mind, though, that he's projected to be a center fielder, so he doesn't necessarily need to continue his .850 OPS to be a very valuable player. However, if he does continue to produce at this rate, we could be seeing a future Kirby Puckett, who was almost identical in size and skill set.

Requests for the next fattening of the list:

    Ramon Geronimo
    Shea Snowden
    Craig Tatum
    Logan Parker
    Aguido Gonzalez

No rush. I've still got half a dozen guys to vote on in the meantime . . .

    Are we going to 40?

Why stop there, how many guys are in the farm system? I will partake until we are out of options if you want.
