    Re: Classic Christmas: 1992

I feel pretty certain that all of these folks have passed away:

    Joe Nuxhall

    Marge Schott

    Gene Elkus

    Ted Gregory

    Doc Rusk

    Tony Sands

    Shirley Jester

    Buddy Kallick

    Bill Nimmo

    Corrections or additions?

By the way, the best match-up of line spoken with the one who speaks it was Bill Cunningham who says "...then turned with a jerk!".

    Perfect, I laugh every time.

    Got me, but very Cincinnati.

Ah, I was a 22 yr old pup back then, now pushing 40.

Simon Leis looks like some sort of troll, and of course he's still the Sheriff.

I didn't think Wildman was already on the billboard that year...but how appropriate that 16 years later, the Bengals' are wrapping up yet another 3-4 win season.

And Cunningham's still on the radio.

Cincinnati - a lot of things just don't change here.

    Ha.

Simon Leis looks so thrilled to be doing that.

Are Captain Wendy and Uncle Al still alive? I thought they passed. And I think the Quick Brother(s) is/are dead.

I really like the wild late 80's hair on the Bethesda North Nurses.

And Norma Rashid. I had almost forgotten about her and her drunken escapades with Charlie Luken.

    Wow....I'm getting all teary eyed.

a super volcano of ridonkulous suckitude.

I simply don't have access to a "cares about RBI" place in my psyche. There is a "mildly curious about OBI%" alcove just before the acid filled lake guarded by robot snipers with lasers which leads to the "cares about RBI" antechamber though. - Nate

Yep, I believe you are correct that Mike Tangi passed not too long ago. He played both of the Kwik Brothers.

I'm thinking that Al and Wanda Lewis are still around, however.

What's with Boomer wearing the Twins cap?
". . . acquiring J. Blanton from Oakland for, apparently, Bailey/Cueto, Votto and a lesser prospect. I do it in a second . . . The Reds' equation this year is simple: Make Matt Belisle your #3 starter . . . trade for Blanton, win 85 or more, be in the mix all summer." - Paul Daugherty, Feb. 8, 2008
