    I confess. It had everything to do with changing my vote. I had not been high on him because of his poor AA showing and K/9 under 7. The expert analysis led me to believe he is a somewhat polished pitcher. There are certainly limits to what can be learned sitting in my arm chair reading stats.

    Depends what stats you were reading.... 55% groundball rate, 16.4% K rate and a 4.9% walk rate are all very strong. Mix in a fastball that tops out at 95 MPH and you have someone you should keep a good eye on. He is my pick for a big breakout next season.

    My breakout pick is Hildenbrandt, with Smith second.
