Directv Extra Innings Package 2009 Pricing

    From DBSTalk.com poster Satellite Racer...

    Here's the pricing
The price will be $179 for renewal, up $10 from last year.

$189 for early bird, up $10 from last year

SuperFan is gone....HD game will be included in MLB EI as part of the MLB package as long as you have HD Access.

So the net is that many of you who had MLB and SuperFan last year are actually receiving a price DECREASE.

    Sweet. Wasn't superfan $50?
The lowest acceptable payroll amount for ownership to show they are not greedy pigs is 15 million more than they are currently paying. No matter what that currently is.

Yep. I'll save a little cash looks like. Wonder if that highlight show they had will return. Kind of pointless with channel 213.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

I think I reached my spending limit on Directv sports this year with NFL Sunday Ticket and the Center Ice package and since I feel there is little chane I will be missing a pennant drive, I'm gonna pass.
Nothing to see here. Please disperse.

The reason they are not having that Strikezone channel this year that went from game to game is because that is what the MLB network is going to be doing every night.

They are not sure yet if Directv will have a mix channel this year where you can see several games at once.

I liked the mix. The few times the Reds were blacked out it stll played on the mix channel.

yep. I loved it. At least, you could tell what was going on. It seemed like it was mostly day games during the middle of the week.

Everything DTV does has a mix channel. I can't see that changing. Glad to see that HD is included this year. I was going to have to pass on EI this year because of finances, but this may let me talk myself into it.

This is cool news for me. I've never had HD, just got it about 2 months ago. I was going to pony up the $50 for the Superfan, now I don't have too. Looking forward to it.
