CGI Joe
You're on point there.
They were all in the military previous to the GI JOE gig, and they all bring something to the table.
I hope Bazooka's in the movie. He was all into Baseball Cards and bubble gum and stuff. He rocked.
Flint better be in the movie. Duke too. You can't have a GI Joe movie without those two.
Who was the chick that drove the Wolverine? Cover Girl? They had so many hot chicks on that squad, it's a wonder they ever got anything done.

IDW, who has the comic book rights to Joe now, is releasing the original Marvel series as a collection of trade paperbacks. 10 issues per. First one came out in January.
It took Larry Hama awhile to get going good, but when they hit issue 21 (the so called "silent issue" written and broken down by Hama, I forget who did the finishes), it was on like Donkey Kong.
I'm pretty sure the first comic book I ever bought was GIJoe #12 or 13. It had Snow Job with his snowmobile on the cover. Had to do with Destro trying to destroy the Alaskan pipeline.
Edit:
It was #11

G.I. Joe #1 was the first comic I collected. I had a subscription to "Spidey Super Stories" as a kid, but I pretty much trashed those. I took care of G.I. Joe #1, though.

I think I have every GI Joe from #1 until I got bored sometime around 1988. I'd have to did through my parents' crawlspace to know for sure.
I remember I started collecting "The 'Nam" instead. More realistic and people died more often.

Quinn the Eskimo Merc was killed in the same issue as original Joe CO General Flagg. (The Joe Aircraft Carrier was named after Flagg.) Cobra launched an attack on the Pitt and the Baroness killed Flagg. Quinn jumped on a gernade to save Snake Eyes, iirc.
Snake Eyes and Wild Bill put Quinn's body on the kayak.
I can't believe I remember all that.

So I just saw that the kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun is playing Cobra Commander.
I don't even know what to think about that.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!
