I think I get where you are coming from. If it's a level playing field and everyone is allowed to do it (if they wish) you are fine with it. The thing is, that I think such a majority of players were doing it, that I don't think it was as much an advantage on the playing field as much as it enabled eveyone to recover quicker from injuries and play without as much rest. I also have a problem with it that it's "illegal", but I don't think it's blatent cheating.

So, for you it's not about fairness comparing numbers across eras or how natural or unnatural it is. Cool. I respect that.
Cool...and yes, level playing field sums it up for me. Like I said a few posts up...in Japan where it is legal for all (asumming not breaking the law) I have no moral hesitation about steroids.

I'll never be convinced that steroids doesn't help a player. Guys just don't go from never hitting 50 homers in a season to belting 73 homers at age 36.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

That's it for me Buckeye. If the evidence comes out that a substantial number of guys were doing it, say, over 50%, that would likely change how I view this issue w/ regard to the concept of "cheating".
