Love Charlie, and like Shooter, Pat Green's OK too.

I have a live CD of Reckless Kelly I like. I listen some to REK, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Jerry Jeff Walker. Justin Townes Earle is OK. Jon D Graham is OK too. Mary Gaithier. No sure if all this is true Red Dirt or not.

Reckless Kelly will be in Bloomington on Feb 24. Paul Thorn will be in indianapolis in late March or early April.

I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

You don't have to tell me. I'm going and recruiting people to go. I'm going by myself if I have to. The closest they've come is Louisville and I was set to go until I had to work the next day.

Now I'm just saying the hell with it and going on that Tuesday night to see Reckless. Never been so pumped to see a band before.

I had never heard of Red Dirt until I coached a kid from OK last summer. Introduced me to Cross Canadian Ragweed...Pretty good.

Saw Shooter open up for Keen a few years ago before I knew much about either of them. Fantastic show. I've seen Keen a few times since then.

Huge Charlie Robison fan, looks like I'll have to go to Texas to see him live though. That big Midwest tour just never materializes. Guess I have to see him 'round his hometown...

Got all of Shooter's stuff too.

RRB hasn't been near Louisville I don't think since they were in Lexington opening up for Dierks Bentley, which I was happy to see.

Though, I have never heard of the term "Red Dirt"...care to explain?

I was originally planning on seeing RRB up in CHicago tonight, but I don't feel like driving and spending the money. They'll be in Indy/Louisville sometime soon.

But RK is still the band I'd still most like to see. 11 more days!

If RK plays at the Bluebird in Bloomington you might want to get your ticket early. I was told they had to reduce the number of people allowed in the venue for fire code reasons.

Thanks, I'll try and do it although I don't see them selling out. I went to CCR over the summer there and there was plenty of space there and they're more popular than RK.

For what it's worth, I've seen Todd Snider there twice and it was packed both times, and a whole lotta Todd fans like Keen.
